ABOUT RACHEL
Born and raised in Michigan, Rachel began her path towards beautifying spaces and inspiring people to live the life of their dreams. As a young girl she constantly was redesigning her room, clearing out clutter and helping others to beautify their space. She also recognized the importance as to why people held onto so much stuff both physically and emotionally. Her mother use to call her a little “Ann Landers.”
In 2001 Rachel made the move from Chicago out to Los Angeles. She quickly heard the call from her childhood talents and began the journey into healing herself and healing, helping and inspiring others. She is certified by the American Feng Shui Institute, is a Reiki Practitioner from the Usui lineage and practices Spiritual Counseling and Energetic & Chakra balancing. Some of her favorite and most inspiring mentors have been Caroline Myss, Byron Katie, Sonia Choquette, Shakti Gawain, Wayne Dyer and Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith founder of Agape International Spiritual Center. Rachel is a member of Agape and has led Relationship workshops for the Agape Singles Ministry.
Rachel’s enthusiasm for love, romance & men led her to mentor Alison Armstrong, co-founder of PAX programs. A program that is dedicated to “altering society’s culture by transforming the way women relate to men.” Rachel is a graduate of PAX Mastery and Leadership and PAX Workshops. Rachel created the workshop From Instinct to Inspiration, which she has taught around the Los Angeles area and as an online telecourse.
In 2007, Rachel created A Fortunate Awakening, a company dedicated to facilitate others to live an authentic, harmonious and balanced life. She lives and works in Los Angeles and is currently enrolled in the M.A. Program of Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
